Manzoor misses arrival of foreign team

KARACHI: The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) media coordinator Manzoor Ali Arif had to wait for several hours for the accreditation card for the coverage of the National Women Football Championship which commenced in Islamabad on Wednesday due to disinterest on part of the organising committee.Sources told ‘The News’ that the organising committee of the championship completely ignored Manzoor Ali Arif and even did not invite him to the airport to cover the arrival of the Iranian women team. However, after few hours of wait Manzoor was issued accreditation card but he missed the crucial coverage at the airport.‘The News’ also learnt that the secretary of the Islamabad Football Association Zaman Khan had also been sidelined. PFF Youth Development Officer for the federal capital Irfan Niazi is said to have differences with Zaman over certain issues.
